A Bread By Elise sourdough version of the Hot Cross Bun.
The Hot Cross Bun, popular at Easter will be available the entire month of April at Bread By Elise and they are lip-smacking delicious!
Our Hot Cross Buns are made using our regular sourdough starter that has been fermented into an enriched fluffy dough with vanilla soaked raisins and lightly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. After baking they are glazed with apricot jam and the cross is made with cream cheese frosting.
Our Hot Cross Buns are made using 100% certified Canadian organic flour and freshly milled in Ontario and Quebec.
Each bun is baked using approximately 94g of dough.
Notes:
- This product contains 6 hot cross buns.
- These buns come in a lined kraft box
- Stays well at room temperature when transferred to a plastic container for 1-2 days.
- Available Saturdays until April 29th
